it’s. um. it’s been a while.

this year has… not been very good for me. i suspect it hasn’t been very good for a lot of us. panel one of this page was drawn in january, maybe a couple of days before inauguration day. and then i basically just downed tools and didn’t work on it at all for months and months, until this week.

iothera means a lot to me and i want to get back to working on it at some appreciable pace. please bear with me as i try to get to that place

and thank you so much to everyone who’s encouraged me to get back to doing these, and waited. it means the world to me. it really does.

So very glad to see you back! Missed your art & this comic. I think most of us are still in shock & denial that we have a reality tv star with absolutely no political experience what-so-ever in the WH. It will be okay, tho. America has survived a Civil War, 2 World Wars, the Great Depression, 911 and numerous other “tragedies”. We’ll be okay. <3

Aw, yay, an update! Sorry to hear you’ve had a rotten year, yeah, and I thoroughly understand why. I am super super glad your art and imagination have gathered up energy to post again – alternative visions are vital! Yay to Takako’s sister and all the people who keep us going and remind us to take care of ourselves.

i’ve been checking almost every day since…the last update, I guess? you know, just in case. didn’t realize it had been so long. not that I’ve ever been good at keeping track of passing time. anyways, glad you’re back and feelin it again

Hey, I’ve been following since Iothera’s first incarnation (WHICH I LOVED!!!! And miss, but LOVED!) and I’ve been checking in here randomly and was so stoked to see this today <3 <3 <3 I love the costuming and tattoos, very detailed and lovely as always. I hope you're feeling better, dear, and hope to see more from you! <3
